Register now! Agro-insurance consolidation workshop

In the last few years there has been a fast growth in the amount of Earth observation (EO) data acquired from space. New ways to enable its exploitation may offer many opportunities to various industries. To extract the full EO potential for the agro-insurance sector, the European Space Agency (ESA) initiated recently the „Earth Observation best practices for the agro-insurance sector“ project. The first step is to get the industries’ insights and inspiration on the geo-information needs. To obtain this information directly from the industry, a dedicated workshop will be organized at ESAs Living Planet Symposium 2019.

We are delighted to invite you on behalf of the project consortium to participate in this agro-insurance consolidation workshop. The workshop will take place on 

Thursday 16th of May 2019 from 13:00 to 14:30 

at the Agora Giardino (“Digital agriculture” session 11:00 - 14:30) at the Living Planet Symposium (MiCo - Milano Congressi, Milan, Italy). 

In this workshop, we want to bring agro-insurance players together to exchange views, identify challenges and opportunities in this relevant domain of agriculture and insurances in order to improve your business, profit and loss and help your customers.
