Living Planet Kids powered by GeoVille!

Last week ESA’s Living Planet Symposium 2019 took place in Milano, Italy. GeoVille sponsored the participation of Innsbruck’s Adolf-Pichler-Platz (APP) high-school kids.

The European Space Agency's Living Planet Symposium 2019 took place in Milano, Italy from the 13th to 17th of May 2019. This symposium focused on how Earth Observation contributes to science and society, and how disruptive technologies and actors are changing the traditional Earth Observation landscape, which is also creating new opportunities for public and private sector interactions.

GeoVille made the participation of Innsbruck’s Adolf-Pichler-Platz (APP) high-school kids at ESA’s Living Planet Symposium possible, to promote Earth observation for the next generation of engineers. Our kids from Innsbruck were joined by our colleagues Eva, Christina and Michael, who also took part at the ESA Living Planet Symposium 2019 and presented several outcomes of their projects, as well as held a user workshop for the agro-insurance sector together with its partners VITO and CGI.
