First GHG-KIT Review Meeting with FFG and Umweltbundesamt on User Requirements and Technical Specifications.
Last week, GeoVille had the pleasure of hosting and coordinating the first review meeting for the Austrian flagship project "GHG-KIT" at K0 + 7. The project aims at prototyping an Earth Observation-enabled toolkit that will support the Austrian Environment Agency (UBA) in their greenhouse national inventory process by the enhancement and verification of the current reported numbers on carbon and methane emissions and removals. The review meeting on user requirements and technical specifications was a success, thanks to the attendance and involvement of FFG, UBA, the Austrian Ministry of Climate Action (BMK), EODC, CloudFlight, Sistema, University of Vienna, GeoSphere, TU Wien and the international Advisory Board. We would like to express our gratitude to all participants for their contributions to the GHG-KIT Spring Event.
