Meet Liane, a Project Manager in Security. Her passion for Earth Observation, Climate Data and mountain endurance drives her from the office to the peaks and back.

Why GeoVille?
“In my work I care about quality and contributing to initiatives that make a real difference. At GeoVille I can do both. Together with a multidisciplinary team we focus on building intuitive and reliable services that help scientists policy makers and everyday users access critical data about our planet and make informed decisions in areas such as urban planning disaster response and sustainable agriculture.”

Current focus:
Liane currently manages projects with ESA and Serco aimed at making Earth observation and climate data more engaging and usable. Her work includes enabling video like streaming of large datasets, fast in browser analysis using WebAssembly modules and developing cost efficient reliable and sustainable solutions for storing and accessing growing volumes of data.

She coordinates multidisciplinary teams from concept to operational deployment ensuring clear communication technical excellence and solutions that deliver real world impact. Her role bridges the gap between technical experts partners and stakeholders while keeping user experience and long term sustainability at the centre of every project.

Outside of work, Liane is most at home in the mountains. She loves trail running over long distances often exceeding 100 km, exploring alpine terrain on ski touring trips in winter and hiking with wild camping in summer. Her endurance, focus and long term thinking carry over into her professional work, shaping the way she approaches complex projects and team coordination.

We are proud to have Liane driving innovation and shaping the future of Space, ClimateData and Innovation at GeoVille.
