Adam is a remote sensing scientist at GeoVille with a passion for woodworking, long-distance cycling (often with his dog, Chaga), and sailing the open seas. Expertise in time-series and spatial data analysis as well as processing large geophysical datasets, makes Adam an invaluable member of our Earth Observation Innovation Unit.
What inspired the move to GeoVille?
“While I enjoyed academia, my pragmatic nature drew me to an operational environment where I could apply my skills to dynamic and impactful projects. GeoVille was the perfect place to transition into an industry role, combining innovation with real-world applications.”
Current Work Focus:
Adam focuses on water-related projects, contributing to initiatives like GDA_Water, EO4WI_Wetlands, and HRL_WSI. He has worked on everything from localised use cases in Ecuador, East Timor, and Georgia to large-scale pan-European productions. His knowledge of satellite-based soil moisture products and global geophysical datasets supports critical advancements in sustainable water management.
