GeoVille at the Human Planet Forum 2025

From 19–21 November 2025, the Human Planet Forum will gather global experts, policymakers, and practitioners to explore how geospatial data and human–environment insights can drive more sustainable and resilient societies.

Hosted by the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre, the Forum features three days of inspiring talks, thematic sessions, demonstrations, and discussions focused on the future of human settlement mapping, exposure analysis, and data-driven decision-making.

GeoVille will be represented by Eva Poglitsch and Stefan Ralser, who will present on Day 1 about the Global Production of the 2022 Copernicus Emergency Management Service (CEMS) Exposure Mapping Component Built-up Product (EMC-BUILT).

We look forward to engaging with the community and contributing to the dialogue shaping the next generation of human-planet insights.
