GeoVille at GEO Global Forum 2025 in Rome

Christian Schleicher, Head of Environment Department at GeoVille is attending the GEO Global Forum to learn how Earth Observation can further contribute to SDGs, specifically those related to mitigation and adaptation to climate change. We are looking forward to catching up with colleagues and meeting new partners to progress on new GEO frontiers.

The GEO Global Forum 2025, taking place from May 5–9 at the Auditorium della Tecnica in Rome, Italy, marks the inaugural edition of a landmark event uniting global leaders, scientists, innovators, and citizens to harness the power of Earth Intelligence. Under the theme “Earth Intelligence: Make the Day Happen,” the Forum aims to transform Earth observation data into actionable insights that drive progress on critical global challenges—including food security, ecosystem restoration, disaster prevention, and the triple planetary crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution.
