• georeferenced data from optical and microwave satellite sensors and aerial photographs
• very high to medium (change alert only) spatial resolution for different acquisition times

• RMS error < 0.5 x pixel size, e.g. IKONOS panchromatic < 0.5 m; LANDSAT multispectral < 15 m
• Geometric accuracies of high-resolution ortho-images are sufficient for accounting of LULUCF activities
