Building land reserves

Spatial data and statistics on land take and available building land reserves have a become a public necessity of high political importance.
 
GeoVille delivers the input data or the full end-to-end service for the monitoring of building land reserves according to spatial planning laws. Detailed land cover information is combined with cadastral data to obtain statistics showing building land reserves on parcel level. The land cover maps exceed 95 % thematic accuracy and have 25m² minimum mapping units for buildings. The analysis provides a distinction between non-built-up land reserves, partly occupied land and special areas for development.
