GeoVille awarded with three GIO services

The European Environment Agency (EEA) recently awarded three of six GMES Initial Operations (GIO) Land Monitoring Services to GeoVille, who will be responsible for the production of high resolution imperviousness and forest layers for large parts of Europe. GeoVille environmentally certified

The ISO 9001:2008 conform quality management system of GeoVille has been extended by an Environmental Management System conform to ISO 14001:2004. The certification has been carried out by Quality Austria - a member of the International Certification Network (IQNet).

GeoVille part of WorldView Global Alliance

GeoVille is now member of the WorldView Global Alliance, which brings together the world's leading global provider of commercial high-resolution imagery products and services. As part of many technological benefits, the Alliance offers rapid collection without extra priority charges, same-day production and delivery through a Direct Access Facility (DAF) in Munich, Germany, providing a direct data downlink from WorldView-2, the world's first commercial 8-band very-high-resolution satellite at 0.50 meter GSD pan / 2.00 meter multi-spectral.

EEA report on green infrastructure

The concept of green infrastructure and its integrations into policies using monitoring systems". The new report from the EEA explores the concept of green infrastructure and mechanisms that could help integrate greener infrastructure into a range of policies.
