State-of-the-art Earth observation (EO) technologies based on high to very high resolution optical multispectral satellite imagery were employed to conduct a comprehensive documentation of 950 km of coastline throughout West Africa (Gambia, Senegal, Sao Tome and Principe Islands,
Benin and Nigeria).
The service provides historical maps of the coastline of the last 20 years as well as quantitative maps of coastal accretion and erosion processing.
