Extract from a multi-spectral FORMOSAT-2 image of the region of Kozloduy, in Bulgaria, not far from the border with Romania. In this image, with a resolution of 8 metres and a length of 10 km, two field patterns can be seen to overlap, one with a north/south orientation and the other inclined towards the east. Using this image, taken in winter, it will be possible to monitor the evolution of crops throughout the year by comparing it with other FORMOSAT-2 multi-spectral images in order to identify crops and estimate the agricultural yield for each field.
