Mapping of a fault system in Germany separating areas of surface uplift from stable ground. Uplift has been caused by fl ooding of an abandoned mine. SAR data from ERS-2 satellite and the radarinterferometric technique have been used to obtain spatial displacement maps. Contourlines of displacements are correlating with the estimated fault structure.
